Holiday Mini Sessions

Hey Everyone!

In all of the years that I’ve been a photographer, I’ve never attempted mini sessions. I have always enjoyed the time spent with clients and 30 minutes always seemed too short. However, I love the holidays. During the holidays people tend to want a quick photo that they can use for their Christmas card or photo album. That is one of the reasons why I wanted to give it a try. I personally love that everyone celebrates the holidays differently. Everyone has their own traditions that they find themselves doing every year. I grew up in New York. I have a lot of friends who are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, ect. Every person celebrates the holidays differently. I find it to be very beautiful.

When I was in college, I never enjoyed photographing people. I always classified myself as a landscape photographer because that is what I enjoyed and what I knew I was good at. In the last couple of years I’ve really started to see what it was like to photograph portraiture. I started photographing more weddings, engagements, family sessions, senior session, ect. I have found a real passion for it. This year has been rough, not only for me but for everyone. With everything going on I wanted to try these holiday mini sessions. It hasn’t felt much like the holidays this year so I thought I would give it a go. I am glad to say that I really enjoyed these sessions! I love the buffalo plaid and fun holiday sweaters. Every client for this session was a new client. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. This was such a blessing.

Be looking out for Valentine’s Day mini sessions! They are in the works.

Thank you everyone for your love and support.

Happy Holidays,

Amanda
